Kaichou wa Maid-sama!

6.75 (above average) I can't say it's a good series though it's an extremely popular shoujo anime. It is just another shoujo, there's nothing about the story that makes me like it, nothing is really special about this series. The art is.. not so great either, the characters are mediocre and common. The main male character is just too perfect for real life (I know it's so common in shoujo anime -__-). The main female character is strong and independent but I am not a fan of her .___.

6.75 (above average) Honestly, is a so-so series. Since I first saw this anime, I was never interested in it because of the way the anime characters were drawn. So much fighting, the scenes are repeated quite often, and the animation is really nothing special. The characters of this series are thoroughly likable though. Well, some people may enjoy it, it quite a good anime to pass the time. C=

6.75 (above average) It’s not one of the best though quite entertaining. I like the romance and friendship elements in this show. So basically, the story is about a girl and her transfer student friend, who is actually a magic girl from the Magic Kingdom. The animation and art style are average for TV anime. The characters are decent but they are pretty good looking. Just don’t expect too much, but overall its a good watch.

6.75 (above average) Another magical girl show. I enjoyed the first several episodes, but it's getting boring and I stopped. The colors and character designs are bright and cute but nothing really inspiring. I don't know who the mangaka is, but it looks a lot like the character designs were done by the same people who did Tokyo Mew Mew. So, it's strongly recommended for any fan of shoujo or anyone above the age of 13.

6.50 (above average) The only reason I watched this anime is because it's awesome animation and cute character designs. This anime reminds me of Hyouka (the main character's personalities and appearance are very similar) and K-ON! I really love the first ending theme song. Hm.. I'm not a fan of daily-life story so I only watched the first 8 episodes and stopped because I got bored. ^^;

6.50 (above average) Cute girls anime, this is a comedy genre anime but it's not funny at all. -___- I watched this only because the cute characters. K-On! is about four cute girls hanging out during and after school and their music club.. so I expected very good songs from this series, but I was disappointed. As for the art and animation, they are very well-done, cute, and attractive.

6.50 (above average) This series isn't so bad, I can't say that it's good either. I watched it because it was made by the same creator as Rurouni Kenshin. After reading Rurouni Kenshin, a truly great manga, I expected a great anime.. but Busou Renkin is nothing compared to it. The story is predictable, common, the animation is just so-so, and there aren’t a lot of character development either, it’s nothing too special. The concepts of homunculus and alchemy remind me of Full Metal Alchemist, but I must admit, FMA is a lot better. :)

6.50 (above average) I bought the manga for the art!! XD Koge-Donbo’s art style is so adorably cute, with huge eyes and faces. I don't usually like huge eyes but this one is different. <3 The story was decent and confusing since I haven't finished (will never finish) watching all episodes. I stopped reading/watching it when I thought that this series was starting to get boring. This is obviously young kids and preteens. That being said, Kamichama Karin is just a standard magical girl anime.

6.25 (average) First of all, I wanted to say that I watched this anime completely only because of Sesshoumaru. X3 The first couple of episodes were quite good with decent storyline, great art, voice-acting, good animation, but somewhat annoying main characters. But then the story just kinda dragged on forever and I started to get bored of all the monster killings after watching 20+ episodes. The the plot is unimpressive except for the the 'final arc', but I have to admit the opening and ending songs are one of the best songs I've ever heard in anime. <3

6.25 (average) The animation and art style are awesome. I love the cute characters. I liked this anime at first, I watched this anime for the mystery aspect but the mysteries are so lame and shallow.

6.00 (average) Ikeyamada Go's artwork is very cute. I admit, I read it only for the art, the faces and scenery were drawn beautifully. So, I was looking for a sweet romance manga and happened to come upon this one. The story is about a 15-year-old girl and the boy she likes. This manga has its funny and serious moments. Overall, the story is simple but it has an interesting plot, it also has quite likable characters but not a very happy ending in my opinion.

5.75 (average) Well, this anime is too girly for my liking, kinda reminds me of Sailor Moon because of their similar magic attacks. The plot is really simple. I watched it I was 10 and I loved this show that time, so I think the plot must be very interesting for a ten-year-old girl. The characters are cute, their costumes and transformations are cute and colorful too. The music is very standard, nothing really remarkable or memorable.

5.00 (moderate) This show made me simply bored, it's so confusing. The main character is weird. The animation is so-so and I honestly don't like the art.

Shugo Chara

Last Updated: Jun 07, 2013

5.00 (moderate) Shugo chara... I'd recommend it to ages under 15 or for those who love Tokyo Mew Mew, Mermaid Melody, and all girly transformation anime. I'm not a fan of magical girl series and this show is too girly and childish for my liking. I don't hate this show, I just did not enjoy watching this anime at all. The storyline isn't very interesting and I find most of the characters are boring. The animation, character designs, and scenery are good though. The characters' transformation scenes are also pleasant to look at.

5.00 (moderate) People say this anime has a romantic story but, I don't feel the romance at all. Its just not my thing. I dropped the anime after about 3 episodes then I read the first chapter of the manga, which was a little better but I still found it so boring.This anime reminds me of Twilight, LOL! The main character is unbelievably lame and mediocre. I love the mangaka's art though, especially the details on the clothing and backgrounds. <3

Bincho-tan

Last Updated: Jun 09, 2013

5.00 (moderate) Slice-of-life anime, definitely Kawaii... though the plot is so boring unless you like watching the whole overly cute thing. This is a story about a little girl who lives in an old house in the mountains, each episode is about a day in the life of Bincho-tan as she prepares her breakfast in the morning, goes to the forest to gather food (vegetables), does her household chores and rests at night. The artwork throughout the series is actually very good, the backgrounds and settings are also extremely well done, they are all displayed in beautiful detail.

The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi

Seen: partially

Last Updated: Jun 10, 2013

4.75 (moderate) In my honest opinion, this anime is not as great as people may seem to think because I can't say I enjoyed watching this anime. .__. This isn't worth my time and honestly I still don't understand why so many people like it. The story is so weird and the main character (Haruhi) is so annoying, she doesn’t even deserve all of the attention she is getting. The plot isn't all that interesting too. But besides that, the other characters were very likable, plus the art and animation are awesome.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters

Seen: partially

Last Updated: Jun 09, 2013

4.50 (moderate) I'm not really into cards (especially Yu-Gi-Oh cards). This anime is mostly about cards and how to get more cards, it tries to make Yu-Gi-Oh (which is supposed to be a fun card game for kids and teens) a somewhat very serious game. I just didn't enjoy this series at all ^^;; The animation and art are very poor, the plot isn't all that interesting as well. I have also read the manga, but it really isn't much better. One thing is good about this series is the monsters are creatively drawn.

Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch

Seen: completely; Own: completely;

Last Updated: Jun 07, 2013

4.25 (below average) This anime has a lot of music. Mermaid Melody may appeal to those who love singing, mermaids, and all other cute and adorable things. I quite liked it when I was 10-11. But if you ask me to watch it again, it would only waste my time since this series could be considered for young girls of about (under) twelve. ^^;; The story is about mermaids, singing magical girl mermaids who sing to defeat their enemies. That's pretty ridiculous is you ask me. The plot and battles are really boring since they only 'sing' to defeat their enemies. The art is decent, mostly girls with super long hair and huge eyes.

Kirarin Revolution

Last Updated: Jun 08, 2013

2.50 (poor) This is probably the worst anime I have ever watched. The story is so predictable, the characters are poorly drawn and they are all standard, everything is too predictable. I don't like the character design with super large eyes and I think the chibi-face moments are overused in this show. The main character has very large eyes but she doesn't look cute in my opinion. The story is aimed for younger girls (under 12 years old) who want to be a cute idol.
